Using Tarot to Heal Microcosmic and Macrocosmic Wounds
Friday October 19th to Sunday October 21st
Hatboro Union Library
243 South York Road, Hatboro, PA
We live in times of great tumult and change, and many in the metaphysical community—as well as the greater outside world—have acknowledged the toll of this high level stress and uncertainty. As tarot readers, this impacts us on every level; we need techniques to help our clients deal with their own demands and stressors, and we need those same techniques in order to be clear, calm vessels ourselves.
This Tarot Concave is dedicated to exploring new tactics and stratagems that will help us to attain personal clarity, but also to have a genuine impact on healing the world around us. Tarot can help us to be the change we wish to see in the world, and this weekend we will, as a group, work interactively with numerous metaphysical modes in order to best address disturbances in our inner and outer worlds.
About the Event
On Friday evening, we will begin with an informal ritual using the four elements (Wands/Fire, Cups/Water, Swords/Air, and Pentacles/Earth) to set the tone for our work (and fun) together.
There will be three workshops on Saturday—you can read the full descriptions here.
The Major Arcana and the Shamanic Path – Ellen Lorenzi-Prince
Stepping into the Healing Portal – Nancy Antenucci
The Hermit, The Wheel & Justice: A Trinity for Change – Diane Wilkes & Alyce Walker
Sunday will be a four hour, highly interactive workshop taught by the inimitable Ellen Lorenzi-Prince, The Shaman and the Goddess. You can read the full description here.
You will return home, refreshed, inspired, and newly-equipped to make both your world and the world a more serene and balanced place.
The Friday ritual (with light refreshments), a pizza lunch on Saturday, and a simple continental breakfast will be provided on Sunday morning are all included with the price of enrollment. If you prefer to have lunch on your own on Saturday, there are several restaurants nearby.
Water, coffee and tea will be available on Saturday and Sunday.
There will be a Saturday night dinner at the Farm and Fisherman Restaurant for those who wish to gather together with the presenters and other participants. That event is not part of the registration fee and is an additional $60. Attendees at last year’s event were thrilled with the quality (and quantity) of the food.
This exclusive event is limited to 25(!) people and is expected to sell out. (It has sold out within the first week for the last two years.)
If you wish to attend the 2018 Tarot Conclave two-day event, there is an early registration rate of $250. After July 1st, the cost increases to $300.
There will be a selection of used and rare tarot decks for purchase during workshop breaks for your perusing pleasure.
